In the heart of Maranello, where every Ferrari comes to life, there is a sanctuary dedicated to preserving the history and authenticity of the brand: Ferrari Classiche. This unique department is the guardian of time, ensuring that each iconic car retains its original heritage and performance.
The historical heritage of Ferrari Classiche
Ferrari Classiche is more than just a restoration department; it’s a living museum. The meticulously-kept technical archives collect documentation of every car produced since 1947. The original assembly sheets and drawings provide the Ferrari Classiche team with the information needed to perform high-precision interventions.
The certificate of authenticity, available for road cars over 20 years old, Special Series, sports cars and Ferrari F1, traces the car’s history. It verifies its conformity to the original project and the origin of each component. In addition, it allows owners to benefit from long-term spare parts and participate in the most prestigious official events.
The guardians of time
The owners of these Ferraris are not only car enthusiasts; they are the guardians of time, the custodians of a unique heritage. Each car certified by Ferrari Classiche is a living testimony to the brand’s history, excellence and innovation.
The Ferrari Classiche certification is a structured process that guarantees the authenticity of classic cars. The process is structured in four distinct steps for a complete and accurate assessment. All information required for analysis is collected through photographs, dimension surveys and technical data. After a completeness check, the car returns to its owner while waiting for the next step.
The analysis begins with the verification of the originality of the chassis, essential condition for certification. The body and interior are examined and compared to original specifications. The analysis is continued by a thorough check of all mechanical and electrical systems in the car. The certification report, which summarizes the results of the inspection and evaluation, is submitted to the certification committee. This external body validates or rejects the report. In case of permanent defects, the process is suspended until the compromised components are restored.
For approved cars, a complete document is produced with photographic and technical evidence. This document is accompanied by the certificate of authenticity, signed by Piero Ferrari himself, which is sent to the owner and attests to the authenticity of the Ferrari Classiche.
An unforgettable evening at Modena Sport
To celebrate this exceptional heritage, Modena Sport has organised a memorable evening on the theme of Ferrari Classiche. Our customers who own cars eligible for the Classiche certification were invited to share a gourmet meal in our workshop, specially staged for the occasion with several iconic cars.
The workshop, usually a place of work and precision, has become a jewel of luxury and elegance. The carefully arranged cars each told a unique story. The team was there to answer all our customers' technical questions. Their expertise and passion for the automobile added an invaluable dimension to this evening.
The gourmet meal, prepared with care, was an opportunity to share convivial moments and strengthen the ties that unite us. The discussions revolved around the possibilities offered by the Ferrari Classiche certification, but above all around the history and elegance of the Ferrari brand.
